4472 (60103) Flying Scotsman Test with 21 Car Pullman Rake 2016 - N GAUGE
Переглядів 8498 років тому
An updated Test Run of my N Gauge Flying Scotsman 4472 (60103) and 21 Car Pullman Rake. With the recent news and activities of the real thing being back in steam once more, undertaken by Ian Riley & Son at the East Lancs. Railway, I felt it only fitting and natural to honour and celebrate with putting together a load test of my own using my N Gauge pride and joy collection and collectors pieces...

Shame they destroyed a large part of this historical railway for useless infrastructure.....
I have met this train as well and making it in Roblox let me know if you want it btw thxs for the video
Oh that dmu I made in animaker last year made grounded video of the dmu please don't get mad
Is thomas event did daisy had pink blush and red lipstick dark blue eyeshadow
We are pushed by Henbury because at 2:06 you can see portbury Sattle tank on a truck
Brilliant stuff! As you go under the Vauxhall bridge, that's where one of Hitler's bombs landed. Did a bit of damage, which I remember seeing. Best Wishes, Philip Fowler
Thanks, great memories of Bristol. What a shame the council didn't develop the Avon Metro, first proposed in the Seventies. Even eight years ago this was a great attraction and could have been developed to link Ashton Gate with the City Centre. The short sightedness of the Beeching era seems to be retained in Bristol. Thanks for the video.
To get an overview of the harbour railways: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_Harbour_Railway
A 50 meter section of the Chocolate Path and the line just fell into the river Avon because Bristol City Council neglected it and prioritized the building of the guided bus flyover right through it. Oh, and the guided buses didn't work for over a year...because they bought the wrong ones. The bodged refit of the buses just makes them as slow as regular buses and few people use the route. Please don't believe me...go look it up.
I thought it was unfair a pice of history being erased ):<
Typical “ head in the clouds “ council.
Appalling
@@hugothomas1199 Absolutely. They had no right to destroy industrial heritage. I did some work for the museum in the early 90s, at that time the track was usable over the Avon Bridge.
The original docks railway ran from Temple Meads under St Mary Redcliffe and across Bathurst Basin to this stretch and then on across the Feeder over a two level road and rail swing bridge to Ashton. There was also a railway down the other side of the dock. An interesting network, now disused because ships dock at Portbury and Avonmouth, no longer making the tedious trek up the Avon to Bristol, although I can recall seeing them come right into The Tramways Centre to offload around 1950. The Create Centre is now owned by the city council and is used for eco work. It was originally a bonded tobacco warehouse where duty did not have to be paid until it was removed from store.
r23betts. Thanks for reply, but, if the train was Pushing 2 wagons with the brake van at the front, unless the video has been played in reverse, the train was going backwards, or am I missing something ?
If you have a look at eg. ua-cam.com/video/UcTuM_-hNxM/v-deo.html this shows how it operates, when filming I was at the front of the brake van with the guard, giving the illusion of a driver's eye view.
L Fewell, as the title explained, it was taken from the brake van, so the train was going backwards.
Loco on the back pushing 2 passenger wagons then the brake van up front. Definitely all moving forward.
Incredible, is this railway still in existence?
Only partially, between M-Shed and the SS Great Britain, this no longer goes to the create centre as had to make way for the awful Metrobus route.
The route from 2:22 onwards is no longer in use due to a guided bus route built on the end of the branch.
Trains currently stop at Vauxhall bridge at 4:50 as the route onwards was made into roads.
@@r23betts I saw that whilst on the bus, I commented on how it was a disgrace to dig up and remove the railway, I mean that stretch along the river by the tobacco factory is just beautiful. I dont see why the metro bus had to interfere with it either
Love rides along "hidden tracks" - bumpy, but good filming.
Shake rattle & roll!
Just what was this filmed from? I can hear a whistle and plenty of rattling but no engine sounds, steam or diesel. Most puzzling!
Lea Fewell steam on the back, pushing 2 converted wagons and a break van. I'm in the break van up front :-)
A nice video
That's just a bloke running down the track with a camera above his head, with added sound effects ;-)
Noblelox course it was. I'm fairly sure the tracks are no longer there - thanks Metrobus
I bought one of these today brand new in the box. I thought it was just a model at first.
Great video ;-)
The train could do with a bell for the "street running" section.
na
No, only in the US are people oblivious enough to not notice a multi ton piece of machinery noisily making its way along a track.......
good video,,looks like the tracks go all over the place
when did dapol do black prince? i would love a black prince or evening star for my heritage exhibtion layout
